Keeping in pace with the global trends and in line with their product diversification plan, Kensalt Limited launched its new division, the film plant division in Mombasa. The film plant division has been setup with state of the art machinery including a fully equipped six colour rotogravure printing machine, multilayer blown film plant, mono-layer blown film plant, high speed slitting machine and a bag making machine.

The company's excellent quality printed film has already made its mark in the market and the demand for our products continues to grow steadily. The main end users are in the food industry, which include the manufacturers of salt, rice, dry fruits & nuts, food grains and mineral water amongst others.

We are supplying both single and multicolour printed films, plain films, shrink film and an assortment of bags.

The division already has ambitious plans to increase the production capacity through the addition of more machines to effectively supply the regional market. Understanding our customer's packaging needs and providing timely, high quality and cost effective solution is our specialty.

1.Rotogravure printing:

We can print on poly ethylene film and plain BOPP, pearlised BOPP film for labels.

2.Multilayer blown film plant:

We can produce the LDPE film for salt, dry fruits & nuts, food grains, rice, shrink film Size 650-1200 mm and thickness 20 - 125 micron.

3.Mono layer blown film plant:

We can produce bags and tubes size 400-600 mm and thickness 20 - 150 micron.

4.Slitting m/c:

We can slit the film size 100- 1200 mm and thickness 20 - 200 micron.

5.Bag making m/c:

Our PVC PLANT also provides plain bags and tubes minimum size 7 x 10 inches and maximum size 24 x 28 Inches.
